More on Motivation
It comes up in every leadership workshop I facilitate... How do I motivate the people I lead and work with. The truth is, you really can't. But, what you can do is help create an environment where natural motivators can do their own work.
As I was discussing this with the workshop participants a few weeks ago, one of them asked if I had seen Daniel Pink's YouTube video: "The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us." I had not so I made a point to view it that night. Daniel does an excellent job of presenting the current research on motivation in a VERY engaging way. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
